Journey:

When I practice, I feel connected with the mother earth, I feel grateful for everything I went through and for everything that is coming, I feel present. I feel peaceful.

Ethos:

Accept yourself, love yourself, and don't compare yourself with anyone else. Just be present and remember, that we are already amazing just as we are! We are exactly where we need to be. Breathe and allow energy to pass through the body and to transform. Repetition, progression, flow and rhythm breath are powerful energetic skills.

​

Approach:

I hope students can share the same passion for movement that I experience and that they learn to fully love themselves through class. I would love for students to learn about their body and movement abilities, and for me to share my knowledge and skills to help students on their growth journey.

I see movement and art as magic. I believe that the practice, creativity and discipline of yoga can assist in awakening one’s connection to the higher self. When I teach, I also aim to create a safe space for clarity and grounding through connecting with the body and breath.

I guide others through awareness of their body and mind. I encourage studemts to push themselves to reveal the strength they have within them. I focus on breath to bring presence to the moment and like to cultivate a safe, judgement free zone for all.

IANTHE

 

Journey

When I practice, I feel I am connecting the physical, emotional and spiritual through simple actions of full-bodied self-love.

 

Ethos

Movement to me is one of the most important acts of self-love. My classes are designed to honour this. In movement students will learn to appreciate and love their body. I want students to feel the time in class is uniquely theirs to expand within and to feel seen and safe to move however feels good to them at the time. I am always present to offer direction, encouragement in trying new things and to ultimately to hold space for all.

Approach

I believe that each person has everything they need inside of them already, they just rarely have the space to hear or feel it. My hope is that my class provides the internal shifts that allow anyone that comes to move through the rest of their day with joyful grace. I hope they leave feeling fully embodied, grounded and powerful.

Alunara Studios rests on the traditional lands of the Gadigal, Bidjigal and Birrabirragal people, who are the traditional custodians of the land to which we rest.  We respect and honour their connections to land, sea and community and pay our respect to their Elders past and present.
