We are so happy to be hosting you in our studio space! Please find some housekeeping details below to help you on your way.

Location: 

We are located on the corner or Miller & Jones Street Pyrmont, around the corner of the Palladium entry Foyer. You can advise your clients input Alunara Studios into their google maps and our address will show up.

​

Intercom:

There is an intercom at the entryway of the Palladium Complex that people can contact you on if they are lost. It is connected to the phone system inside the studio, next to the entry door.

​

Parking:

There is one UGP available with Studio Hire located at Level P3. 

​

90-Min free parking is available at the Woolworths Complex across the road.

​

2-hour paid street parking is available around at approx. $7 an hour with limited free parking options after 7pm. 

​

Transport:

The L1 TramLine (Central to Dulwich Hill) Fishmarket Tram Stop is located directly accross from the studio, exit Miller Street Side.

​

The 501 Bus Line (Parramatta to Central) is located 100m from the Studio on Miller Street. the 389 (Bondi Junction to Pyrmont) is located 500m from the studio on Harris Street.

​

Studio Entry:

​

Studio Entry is via a time-sensitive pin-code that will be issued to you 24-hours prior via text message. To operate the pin pad touch the number pad (not the fingerprint circle) until it is illuminated, type in your pincode and select the unlocked padlock button. The fingerprint button will flash green. A video of how to do this will be provided to you in advance. 

​

Keys with the carpark circular entry swipe will be left inside the studio on the gold lock. The keys will also have a small black square card reader that can also be used to open the doorway.

​

If you cannot access the studio using the pinpad, there are a spare set of keys available at the concierge, located inside the Palladium complex. You are authorised to collect these keys from the concierge desk if necessary. Just advise them of your company name and that you are collecting the keys for Unit 150, Alunara Studios. 

​

Please do not misplace or lose the keys or you will be responsible for the cost of replacement of items. It is recommended that you keep the keys inside the studio and collect them each morning on your way into the car park.

Soundsystem:​

The Sonos Speaker soundsystem (Era 100 - Studio and Era 300 - Foyer Speakers) is linked to ensure stereo surround sound and is accessible via bluetooth or WIFI:

WIFI connection:

1. Connect to the WIFI System.

2. Open your music playing device 

3. Connect your device to (Studio +1)

4. Play through your music paying device.

Bluetooth connection:

See the linked instructions for connection via bluetooth for the Sonos Era 100 and Sonos Era 300.

Optional - Add Sonos App to control individual speaker volumes from your phone​

1. Download Sonos App to your device 

2. Sign into the App using the below credentials:

3. Control the speaker system through the app (must be connected to WIFI)

Lights:

​

There are two lighting systems in the studio. 

​

1. Dimmable spotlights at the entryway  These come with adjustable colour settings that can be manually adjusted at the base of the light setting. The dimmer switch is located at the entryway. 

​

2. 3-Colour Phase downlights located throughout the studio - The colour can be changed from daylight, to warm daylight to warm light by switching the switch slowly on and off to toggle between colour options. 

​

There are also 2 x Salt Lamps and 2 x Ratton Lamps that can be used for mood lighting.

​

Bathroom - It is recommended you switch on the lamp in the bathroom as the downlight is bright.

​

Please switch off all the lights including the bathroom light when you are finished each day.

​

Heating/Cooling:

​

There is a split cycle system mounted on the ceiling operated by remote located on the sink console behind the water filter.

​

There are also 2 x portable radiant heaters that can be utilised for hot yoga/heated practices on request. 

​

There is a portable fan to circulate air in the room. It is recommended you open the doors and circulate the air in the room for ten minutes prior to starting your workshop/event as the air can become stale overnight. 

​

Shower and toilet facilities:

Shower and toilet facilities are available on site. BYO Towel. 

​

Blinds:

​

The doors and windows have adjustable venetian wooden blinds. Please use with care and close the blinds at night time prior to leaving.

​

First Aid Kit:

​

Located in the sink cupboard to the right, top shelf. Please advise if an occupational safety incident or hazard arises during your hire period. 

​

Fire Extinguisher and Blanket:

Located at the front entry door.

​

Equipment:

 

The following equipment is available as part of your studio hire.  

12 x Yoga/Pilates Mats (baskets on floor)

12 x Yoga Bolsters (entry cupboard)

12 x Blankets (entry cupboard)

12 x Yoga Straps (Balanese trunk at window)

24 x Yoga Blocks (Balanese trunk at window)

4 x Portable Divider Screens (located to the left of the showers).​

1kg, 2kg and 3kg Dumbells (Balanese trunk at window)

Excluded:

Pilates Reformer beds and boxes are at a separate hire cost and are not included in the usage.

The Infared sauna is not available as part of the booking. 

​

A portable folding table is located in the bathroom cupboard, a step ladder is located next to the right of the showers and the portable screens are located to the left of the showers. Please advise if you would like any of this equipment to be left our for you prior to your hire. There is a fluff remover/roller located in the cabinet under the sink for the bollards which can get fluffy from the blankets.

Please feel free to use the wooden footstool, white portable door-side table in the studio as required.

​

Merchandise

Under no circumstances is merchandise within the studio to be touched or removed without prior permission of the owner. 

​

Items are available for purchase online at https://www.alunara.com.au/category/all-products and can be purchased during your workshop online. Please advise if this occurs.

​

CCTV 

The Merchandise and Entry Section of the Studio is CCTV Monitored. 

​

Operating Hours:

​

The studio is licensed to operate from 6am-9pm Mon-Fri, and 7am-8pm Sat/Sunday. Noise and usage must accord with these hours.

​
